Glee covers "Teenage Dream"

Looks like the newest member to the GLEE cast, Darren Criss, will be getting off to a good start on the show. He and the rest of his posse (not sure what to call them) will be covering Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream." I also hear that Darren's character will be gay. It looks like he'll become a love interest for Kurt.

Bye bye Limewire

Limewire Shut Down by Court - Empire State Tribune

Timothy Olyphant

You know...I didn't know that Timothy Olyphant was THE hitman in the movie, Hitman. And he's the male lead in my favorite movie of ALL time: The Broken Hearts Club.

Doesn't even look like him, does it? He's bald!

Glamour's Woman of the Year: Constance McMillen

Remember when that girl that wasn't allowed to take her girlfriend to prom, the school "cancelled" the prom, held a secret prom somewhere else for all the straight people, she found out, sued and won $116, 000? Well, she's Glamour magazine's Woman of the Year...That's what's up.

Melissa Etheridge tells Glamour that McMillen is a woman of the year because, “She stood up and said, ‘This is who I am.’ When someone does that, it changes the world. It gives hope.”

This is me...now

So...I haven't blogged about anything in a long time.

When I say long time...LONG TIME.

My last post was August 30th? Yeah...two full months of absolutely nothing.

I apologize if you read my blog. If you occasionally do, well, I apologize too. If no one is reading this...FU. Haha, just kidding. Seriously. Okay. I guess I'll update you all on my life.

2/3 of the fall semester is already over. Can you believe it? It's been such a rough semester that I haven't even taken time to notice the time. Honestly, this has been one of the roughest semesters I've had. It's been challenginng on many levels. Professionally, academically, and on a personal level too. At this point in my life, I'm ready for a break. You know? I've been going and going and going non-stop. Life just needs to slow down. Or better yet, STOP. I need to take the time to do me. I mean I did a lot of that this summer, but I worked. I did a lot of it already this semester too, but I'm still in school.

That's why I think I'll be waiting to go into grad school. Instead, I've decided to apply for the l'assistant de langue program in France. If I get accepted, I'll be a teaching assistant for an English teacher in either elementary, middle or high school. This is a wonderful opportunity that I might not be able to do again after grad school. It only makes sense that I do while I still can. Grad school will still be here when I get back. Going to France may never happen again for me.

I'm the kind of person who likes change. Especially when it comes to scenery and environment. I love Grand Valley, but I'm done. My soul, heart and mind are in a different place. It's been like that for a while now. It's just taken me a little time to realize that I need to move on to something else.
